Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer III (Azure)

Location: Arlington, VA, United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure Azure infrastructure using virtual machines, virtual networks, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Managed Disks, and Azure Active Directory.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Implement cloud security, governance, encryption, monitoring, and compliance aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, and Department of Defense standards.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Configure Azure networking, load balancing, hybrid connectivity, cloud migrations, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with client organizations, DevOps teams, and security engineers to align solutions with business and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems administration, including extensive Microsoft Azure experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure cloud engineering, Terraform, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, multi-cloud and hybrid environments, Azure networking, security monitoring, and compliance frameworks.

• Azure Solutions Architect certification or an equivalent Azure certification.
