Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Onsite in Tampa, Florida, at a Health Center; Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care to client employees and their dependents under the supervision of healthcare providers.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens according to provider orders.
• Document care and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient health records.
• Maintain medical equipment and a clean, safe environment while following infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and perform additional assigned duties within the scope of practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing-accredited program, with an associate degree or equivalent qualification from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current practical or vocational nursing license in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
