Technology Architect (Virtualization, Automation)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Design and implement a SUSE-based private cloud virtualization platform using KVM as an alternative to VMware/Broadcom solutions.
• Optimize the platform for SAP workloads, including sizing, high availability, certification, and performance.
• Build repeatable infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate automation with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools to support request, change, incident, and CMDB workflows.
• Maintain architecture documentation covering compute, storage, networking, automation, observability, and integrations.
• Coordinate feature priorities, risks, stakeholders, and alignment with business and SAP roadmaps.

Requirements

• Experience with virtualization architecture, Linux, SUSE, and KVM.
• Knowledge of security engineering and data center infrastructure.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
• Strong communication and self-management skills.
• English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• ITIL knowledge.
• Scrum or Agile experience.
• German language skills.
