TL;DR

Solution Architect (.NET) (.NET/cloud): Designing and modernizing scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions for an enterprise industrial technology platform with an accent on .NET, cloud platforms, messaging systems, and database architecture. Focus on translating business requirements into C4-based architecture, optimizing legacy applications, and building highly available deployment and monitoring capabilities.

Location: Remote from Poland

Salary: 170–190 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

Design and architect scalable, secure, resilient software solutions and highly available messaging queue systems.
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Modernize and optimize applications built with Visual Basic, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 10, React, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
Build and optimize database solutions using Azure SQL Database, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.
Promote clean code, code reviews, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
Support DevOps strategy and improve deployment and monitoring with Azure, Google Cloud, Rancher, Sentry, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Datadog.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, including successful solution design with C4 model diagrams.
Strong front-end experience with React and jQuery.
Back-end expertise with C#, Visual Basic, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 10, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms, clean code principles, and modern development practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

Experience with Rulestream or other configuration engines.
Knowledge of Angular.
Experience with DevOps and monitoring tools such as Rancher, Sentry, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Datadog.
