What you will do

• Support contract and budget drafting and negotiations with clinical trial sites and investigators.
• Develop a technical understanding of legal terms, budget concepts, and regulatory requirements for clinical trial contracting.
• Work on one or more interventional clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Contribute to process support and continuous improvement projects by identifying lessons learned and best practices.
• Collaborate with project management, clinical, study management, and legal functions.
• Potentially support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Requirements

• Must be completing a placement as part of a degree course at a UK university through a Year in Industry, Industrial Placement, or Gap Year.
• On target for a legal degree.
• Self-motivated, detail-focused, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High IT literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of AI tools and technologies, with curiosity and willingness to develop further skills.
