Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own prioritization across customer commitments, support escalations, reliability work, and new product opportunities.
• Conduct customer discovery with developers, security teams, Customer Engineering, and Sales to identify underlying problems and validate solutions.
• Partner with engineering and design to define requirements, user stories, success criteria, project plans, dependencies, and milestones.
• Evaluate technical constraints and costs while making product trade-offs.
• Maintain visibility into commitments and provide go-to-market teams with clear guidance on product scope and timelines.
• Define expected benefits and assumptions, measure adoption and outcomes, and use learnings to improve future decisions.

Requirements

• Several years of product management experience, ideally with developer-facing, security, or infrastructure products in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience making prioritization decisions under capacity constraints and defining clear product boundaries.
• Technical fluency sufficient to work with engineers and customers on topics including CI/CD pipelines, lockfiles, and build checks.
• Strong customer discovery, written communication, project management, risk management, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an async environment and communicate the reasoning behind product decisions.
• Builder mindset and willingness to establish product practices without an existing playbook.

Nice to have

• Experience with software supply chain security, application security, vulnerability management, or security platforms.
• Experience building products for developers or security teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise software evaluation, technical sales cycles, and customer-driven roadmap pressure.
• Experience joining as an early or first dedicated Product Manager.
