Market Universal Banker (Retail Banking)

Location: Greece, New York, United States of America; frequent travel between designated branches may be required.

Salary: $18.68–$31.14 per hour

What you will do

• Serve branch customers as a teller and universal banker, completing transactions, account servicing, appointments, and walk-in support.
• Educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking products, recommend solutions, and encourage digital banking adoption.
• Identify customer needs, refer complex requests and product opportunities to appropriate banking partners, and support account opening and loan origination.
• Manage lobby interactions, customer complaints, overdrafts, documentation, and operational issues.
• Support AML, BSA, KYC, fraud escalation, internal controls, audits, and Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.
• Travel between branches to provide coverage and support branch staff as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Ability to travel between branches on an as-needed basis.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with consumer and small-business customers and handle difficult conversations.
• Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment and use internet-level technology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers for prolonged periods, lift 5–30 pounds, read fine print, and work face-to-face with customers.
