Virtual Property Claims Specialist (Remote)

Salary: USD 72,000–109,000 per year

What you will do

• Handle assigned property and inland marine claims across multiple regions.
• Investigate claims, estimate property damage, obtain documentation, and determine coverage.
• Select, deploy, and manage experts and vendors involved in claim resolution.
• Evaluate and settle property-related damages, including occasional aggregate claim values above $100,000.
• Handle typical Business Income losses and support corporate catastrophe operations, including claim triage and assigned catastrophe claims.
• Manage negotiations, reserves, settlements, and legal, regulatory, or appeal-related requests within established authority.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of claims experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines coverages and computer-based damage estimating.
• Ability to work varying shifts.
• Proficiency with standard business and claims-specific software and efficient keyboarding skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile.
• College degree preferred.
