Claims Analyst (Complex Claims)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or onsite options are indicated; the role includes 15%–20% travel and occasional extended work hours for client meetings and industry functions.

Base salary: $42,400–$80,000 annually. The role may also include performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Manage assigned complex claims independently, maintaining claim files, event systems, diaries, tender documentation, and coverage records.
• Review and summarize coverage positions, including denials and reservations of rights, and provide analysis and recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate with adjusters, defense counsel, insurance carriers, clients, producers, and internal service teams to move claims toward resolution.
• Develop strategies and recommend next steps for claims involving multiple carriers or layers of coverage.
• Monitor claim progress, provide routine status updates, identify coverage obstacles, and escalate issues when intervention is required.
• Build effective client and carrier relationships to provide claims advocacy and support.

Requirements

• Four years of professional office experience directly related to the role.
• Experience with claims management, claim documentation, coverage analysis, and client communication.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and accommodate occasional 10–12-hour workdays.
