What you will do

• Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and financial, tax, regulatory, SEC, shareholder, Board, and internal management reports.
• Analyze results, interpret data, perform variance analysis, resolve reporting issues, and provide input for management recommendations.
• Perform data integrity testing, general ledger entries, and activities aligned with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Maintain internal control standards and support timely resolution of audit and regulatory findings.
• Monitor department timelines, deliverables, risk standards, policies, and controls.
• Provide cross-training and support to new or junior team members.

Requirements

• Associate's degree and at least two years of experience in accounting, auditing, operations, or financial institutions, or a bachelor's degree.
• Foundational knowledge of finance or accounting concepts and financial statements.
• High-level PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow accounting, regulatory, risk, and internal control requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with data visualization or data querying applications.
• Knowledge of applicable tax regulations.
