Financial Systems Analyst

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $64,800–$89,100 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, analyze, and maintain business systems that impact the general ledger.
• Support ledger-related projects by defining requirements, building reports, assisting with testing, and supporting implementation.
• Complete account reconciliations, interface balancing, and journal entry processing accurately and on time.
• Maintain close schedules and support Controllers in meeting financial reporting deadlines.
• Analyze accounting processes, systems, procedures, and workflows; recommend and implement improvements.
• Act as the accounting department liaison to Technology and train staff on financial transactions in business systems.

Requirements

• Typically 4 or more years of relevant experience, or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
• Experience with business systems that support accounting operations and the general ledger.
• Ability to complete reconciliations, journal entries, interface balancing, analysis, and reporting-related work.
• Ability to provide recommendations, support implementations, and collaborate with Technology and internal departments.
