Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design and build clean, testable, and efficient backend systems.
• Ship customer-facing features as part of a product engineering team.
• Collaborate with Deployment, go-to-market teams, and customers to bring features to life.
• Turn repeated setup work into product improvements.
• Improve testing, quality, long-term maintainability, engineering practices, and technical culture.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a backend engineer at a modern technology company.
• Strong ownership, care for quality, and a track record of delivering work.
• Ability to work with customers and explain technical concepts to non-engineers.
• Ability to receive feedback and turn it into growth.
• Curiosity, ambition, and kindness.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Event Sourcing, Express, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, or AWS is useful but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI features and evaluating them.
• Experience with product analytics.
