Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Paris - La Défense, France; hybrid workplace. Candidates must be based in France and have full working rights.

What you will do

• Build, improve, and scale Lini, the AI engine behind contract risk detection, document summarization, minute generation, and other product capabilities.
• Write specifications with executable acceptance criteria, data classification, authorization matrices, volumetry assumptions, and latency and throughput budgets.
• Define API schemas, types, module boundaries, and invariants before implementation begins.
• Pilot coding agents through bounded tasks with clear artifacts, stop conditions, budgets, and traceability.
• Design verification gates using property-based testing, contract testing, policy-as-code, performance checks, and backward-compatibility proofs.
• Build for safe delivery through feature flags, progressive delivery, structured logs, metrics, tracing, and controlled blast radius.

Requirements

• Based in France with full working rights.
• Fluent French and English.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building and operating B2B SaaS platforms in production.
• Experience owning features through design, delivery, iteration, and maintenance on long-lived products.
• Strong knowledge of scalable web architectures, modularity, multi-tenant authorization, security, and measured performance.
• Practical experience with coding agents, property-based testing, contract testing, representative test data, and specification-driven verification.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in senior SaaS environments.

• 30–45-minute interview with a TA team member.
• One-hour interview with the Engineering Manager and a 45-minute interview with the CTO.
• 90-minute technical interview covering specification design and adversarial review of an agent-generated code change.
