What you will do

• Manage branch operations, profitability, sales, service, transactions, digital engagement, and annual business goals.
• Lead, coach, develop, evaluate, and hire branch employees.
• Identify retail and business banking needs and grow business relationships through proactive outreach and community presence.
• Resolve complex account servicing, customer, and operational issues while maintaining ownership through completion.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend bundled products and services.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud prevention, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, and email.
• Maintain federal SAFE Act registration requirements and complete M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within 18 months of hire.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; branch training is provided within six months.
