Focus on designing low-latency networks, improving failover and recovery, hardening AWS and Linux platforms, and operating safe deployments for performance-sensitive services.

What you will do
- Own infrastructure end to end across AWS, physical environments, Linux hosts, networking, containers, and runtime operations.
- Design and benchmark infrastructure for performance-sensitive real-time services, including throughput, burst behaviour, and tail-latency targets.
- Operate and troubleshoot critical network paths across VPCs, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, private connectivity, and service communication.
- Build infrastructure as code, host lifecycle management, and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production.
- Improve reliability, failover, recovery, operational safety, observability, and incident tooling.
- Partner with software engineers on reusable infrastructure patterns, production readiness, CI/CD, and incident response.
Requirements
- Production infrastructure ownership experience for distributed or real-time systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, KMS, S3, SQS, and SNS.
- Strong networking experience covering routing, DNS, load balancers, network security, service connectivity, and production traffic debugging.
- Strong experience with Terraform, infrastructure lifecycle management, Linux systems, containers, runtime debugging, and host-level performance tuning.
- Experience with dedicated hosts, low-latency networking, CPU pinning, host isolation, stateful services, failover, recovery, and controlled cutovers.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable practical experience, plus strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
