AI Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Operate and automate cloud and on-premise infrastructure for AI platforms.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and optimize platform scaling and performance.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and integrate GitOps deployment workflows.
• Establish observability through logging, metrics, alerts, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Implement access control, RBAC, secrets management, and secure deployment workflows.
• Provide runtime environments for model serving and data services, including hybrid, edge, and air-gapped scenarios.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, monitoring, and production incident management.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, kustomize, and ArgoCD.
• Strong understanding of access control, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.
• Teamwork, communication, independence, analytical thinking, thoroughness, and a solution-oriented approach.
