Co-op, R&D Chemistry: January - June 2027 (Onsite)

Location: Acton, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid arrangement with on-site work required at least 4 days per week

Annual base salary: $25.00–$34.00

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod wearable drug delivery platform for insulin and other subcutaneous therapies.

What you will do

• Work in the chemistry laboratory testing and analyzing body-worn drug delivery devices for biocompatibility and patient safety.
• Use GCMS with a headspace autosampler for off-gas analysis of Pod components.
• Use FTIR to investigate foreign matter related to R&D, post-market activities, and manufacturing.
• Use UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod devices.
• Coordinate sample submissions to contract laboratories and author biocompatibility test protocols and reports.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks, follow safety guidelines, and establish instrument and procedure tool files.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work with chemistry-based laboratory equipment and tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow direction.
• Highly ethical, responsible, and data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
