Firmware Test Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Execute test cases, document defects, and coordinate resolution through closure using Jira.
• Develop, maintain, and scale automated test frameworks and scripts for embedded systems.
• Create and manage test plans, procedures, reports, and manual and automated test scripts.
• Monitor test schedules, track execution progress, and maintain requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Configure test environments, perform harness and regression testing, and administer laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Open to entry-level graduates and professionals with 2 or more years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ for test automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with embedded software testing tools, frameworks, and HP ALM.
• Experience with harness testing, regression testing, and laboratory configuration management.
