Software QA Engineer (Storage)

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States

Base salary: $105,000–$154,000 per year

What you will do

• Validate enterprise storage management applications and end-to-end storage solutions.
• Develop software test plans based on product feature requirements.
• Design, maintain, and execute tests for advanced storage array systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines.
• Assist field teams with debug analysis and reproducing customer issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver features and manage schedules and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 5+ years of software development or storage software QA experience.
• Experience with software QA processes, Agile methodologies, and the software development and quality assurance lifecycle.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting, web service API integration, and other software languages.
• Working knowledge of server, storage, and networking infrastructure, as well as JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, communicate with customers and end users, and work effectively in a remote collaboration scenario.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with S3 Object, block devices, NFS, and SMB file systems.
• Experience developing and testing software in a Linux environment.
