Quality Control Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide quality and EHS documentation within the ISO framework and support ISO certifications.
• Identify and resolve product and process issues using 8-D, 5-Why, Pareto analysis, SPC, capability studies, and other quality tools.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process and product improvements.
• Administer the calibration program, maintain the MRB process, and perform internal process and procedure audits.
• Support production, technical services, sales, engineering, purchasing, warranty, and repair activities with quality investigations and technical analysis.
• Work with suppliers and purchasing teams to resolve supplier-quality and purchased-parts issues; participate in the Safety Committee.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in electrical or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing quality processes, basic statistical analysis, and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, teamwork, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, take initiative, and maintain a customer and continuous-improvement focus.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform the physical demands of the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic ignition systems and components.
