Pipe Completion Engineer (Thermoplastic Composite Pipe)

Location: Hybrid role based in IJmuiden, Netherlands, with office and home-based working

Salary: €3,000–€4,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications

What you will do

• Develop project-specific completion plans for pipe cleaning, bore preparation, fitting installation, testing, lifting, transportation, storage, and delivery.
• Prepare work instructions, FAT protocols, inspection plans, technical documentation, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate risk assessments, safety reviews, and environmental evaluations in line with applicable standards and company procedures.
• Align project execution with Project Engineering, Production, Operations, Field Service, suppliers, and contractors.
• Support lifting and logistics planning with operational teams.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems through lessons learned and best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Composites, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in offshore, oil and gas, construction, or other project-driven technical environments.
• Experience with engineering preparation, operational planning, risk assessments, safety reviews, and FAT coordination.
• Experience with ERP, PLM, PDM, or similar engineering systems.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage.
