Actuarial Intern

Location: Richmond, VA, United States. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $24–$28.50 per hour

What you will do

• Support projects within the Actuarial department.
• Contribute to pricing, reserving, or actuarial operations.
• Analyze data and deliver work that supports business decisions.
• Collaborate with experienced actuaries on projects with defined deliverables and deadlines.
• Develop practical knowledge of the property and casualty insurance market.

Requirements

• Be a college junior graduating in May 2028 or a recent graduate.
• Major in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Be proficient with data tools and technology.
• Have US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not provided.
