TL;DR

Salary: $208,000 annually

What you will do

  • Lead teams and major sections of General Rate Cases and cost-recovery proceedings before public utility commissions.
  • Prepare analyses, compliance filings, testimony, and regulatory submissions involving costs, rates, tariffs, and policy issues.
  • Manage discovery, rebuttal, hearing, complaint, and filing-defense processes.
  • Evaluate regulatory decisions and internal controls, developing compliance programs to reduce dispute risks.
  • Coordinate Finance, Legal, Regulatory, operations, and project teams to maintain accurate and timely filing data.
  • Advise executive leadership on regulatory risks, policy changes, and related financial and operational considerations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in science, engineering, economics, law, finance, communications, public policy, or a related business or technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, utility operations, compliance management, or complex project leadership.
  • At least 3 years managing or supervising an organization or unit, or 7+ years in advanced project or regulatory management.
  • Experience supporting and managing testimony development for General Rate Cases or equivalent regulatory proceedings.
  • Strong regulatory, analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical, legal, or economic discipline.
  • Extensive experience leading multi-phase GRC proceedings before state public utility commissions.
