Senior Data & Application Administrator III (MRO Enterprise Systems)

What you will do

• Administer, configure, support, and optimize enterprise aviation Maintenance & Engineering applications such as TRAX.
• Design, test, and execute complex SQL queries, data correction scripts, and automated maintenance procedures.
• Perform Oracle database backups, restores, environment refreshes, disaster recovery activities, and rollback preparation.
• Support Apache Tomcat and JBoss application servers, including deployments, configuration changes, service restarts, and log analysis.
• Troubleshoot APIs, web services, and application-to-application data flows across enterprise systems.
• Coordinate releases, vendor patches, upgrades, environment promotions, and technical work with infrastructure teams, vendors, business analysts, product managers, and global development resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aviation Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise application administration, database management, or middleware support.
• Hands-on experience with aviation Maintenance & Engineering applications, strong SQL scripting, and Oracle administration and recovery procedures.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Windows Server, and Linux administration.
• Knowledge of change management, release planning, production support lifecycles, technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of airline MRO processes, including maintenance planning, records management, engineering controls, and aircraft configuration management.
• Experience in regulated aviation or transportation engineering environments.
