Systems Administrator

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Monitor system logs and applications, preferably using automation.
• Perform customer-scheduled system backups and data archiving.
• Harden Linux systems according to information-security engineering principles and industry best practices.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, Oracle database servers, Apache servers, DNS servers, domain controllers, network storage devices, and HP servers.
• Apply server patches and operating-system updates, support hardware and software acquisitions, and manage software licenses.
• Submit discrepancy reports and requests for change while working with the ISSM and customer security teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph are required.
• 10+ years of experience in configuration management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Linux servers, Windows servers, Oracle database servers, DNS servers, domain controllers, network storage devices, and HP servers.
• Experience designing, configuring, and installing information systems with routers, servers, switches, storage systems, and laptops.
• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Windows-based domains.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying the complete DevOps lifecycle, including build pipelines, automated deployments, compliance scanning, and test-driven development.
• Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining CentOS and Ubuntu environments.
• Experience with INFOSEC and Information Assurance policies such as ICD 503.
• Experience developing and testing automation tools, managing virtualized infrastructure, and improving reliability, availability, and maintainability.
