What you will do

• Assess existing BI, data warehouse, database, ETL, integration, reporting, and dashboard environments against business and technical requirements.
• Define target data architectures, migration approaches, transition scenarios, data mappings, sequencing, validation, cutover, and coexistence strategies.
• Design, develop, adapt, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines, integrations, SQL processes, data models, and migration solutions.
• Perform hands-on database analysis, data profiling, validation, reconciliation, optimization, monitoring, and migration activities.
• Improve metadata, data lineage, cataloguing, data quality, governance, access controls, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business users, BI/DWH, data engineering, and AI specialists to prepare enterprise data for AI and agentic use.

Requirements

• University degree at EQF 6 level or equivalent and at least 12 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, platform assessment, relational databases/DWH, SQL, ETL/ELT, data integration, and data modelling.
• At least 1 year of experience with enterprise data, BI, or DWH migrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional modelling, data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, APIs, interoperability, DataOps, and enterprise architecture methods.
• Practical experience with SQL-based systems; Oracle experience is particularly relevant. Knowledge of NoSQL, graph databases, semantic modelling, and knowledge graphs is also relevant.
• English is required; French is an asset. Ability to participate in multilingual meetings and work independently and collaboratively is expected.
• One of TOGAF, CDMP, DAMA-DMBoK, ISO data governance standards, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
