Credit Control Team Leader (Insurance)

hirify.global’s Talbot operates in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market through Syndicates 1183 and 2019, providing specialist insurance solutions across commercial and personal risk areas.

What you will do

• Manage the Credit Control Team and act as the escalation point for credit control issues.
• Mentor team members, support training and development, and drive the reduction of aged debt.
• Oversee daily workflows, productivity, objectives, performance targets, and team outputs.
• Monitor premium and unallocated cash postings, reconciliation accuracy, and management information reporting.
• Maintain documented processes and procedures, provide operational guidance, and support process implementation.
• Build effective relationships with clients, brokers, underwriters, finance, operations, Lloyd’s market participants, and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience managing teams, including resourcing, training, and development.
• Good understanding of underwriting and underwriting operations.
• Knowledge of Lloyd’s operational processes, systems, and market practices.
• Experience working with process development teams and implementing new business processes.
• Previous experience in a Credit Control department and insurance credit control reconciliation experience are desirable.
• Understanding of slips, associated endorsements, and closings is essential.
