Reliability Test Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

What you will do

• Support the development and maintenance of test programs and capabilities for new technology reliability assessments.
• Perform wafer-level and package-level reliability testing, including HCI, BTI, TDDB, and EM.
• Execute electrical measurements with semi-automatic and fully automatic probers and deliver accurate data on time.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot measurement and equipment issues, and document findings.
• Support test automation, equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, laboratory organization, and safe operating practices.
• Collaborate with FEOL, BEOL, Product Reliability, and laboratory engineering teams on technology development and qualification.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Internship activities require working at the Malta, New York site.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or co-op experience and demonstrated leadership.
• Coursework or laboratory experience in semiconductor devices, circuits, reliability, or electrical characterization.
• Programming experience with Python, C#, C++, Visual Basic, or a related language.
• Familiarity with probers or electrical test equipment.
• Project management, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
