ICT Engineer (Windows/Linux)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Negotiable base salary from €1,300 gross per month, depending on seniority and experience, plus variable compensation and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Perform, coordinate, and improve complex third-level activities supporting IT services and infrastructure KPIs.
• Plan, implement, and maintain stable technical infrastructure for business processes.
• Diagnose complex infrastructure incidents, investigate root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
• Evaluate, authorize, plan, test, implement, document, and review complex changes.
• Assess infrastructure performance, identify deviations, and coordinate remediation with vendors when needed.
• Lead release and deployment planning, maintain technical documentation, and deliver employee training.

Requirements

• Completed secondary education, preferably in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in ICT Application Operations and Management.
• Expert knowledge of Windows/Linux core platforms and intermediate knowledge of related platforms.
• At least one advanced certification relevant to the platform and experience with SQL databases.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and project management, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• English at B2 level and German at B1 level required; willingness to participate in on-call duties is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
• German at B2 level.
