Data Manager (Data Governance) (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Lead sensitive-data classification across source-system tables and dimension values.
• Design dynamic masking and row-access policies for sensitive financial fields, scoped by role and business unit.
• Define raw-to-curated access tiering and least-privilege models across the data platform.
• Design auditable column-level lineage across source, landing, staging, conformed, curated, semantic, and reporting layers.
• Support master data management to standardize business metrics and financial definitions.
• Partner with Security, Privacy, and Compliance stakeholders to approve governance designs before build and resolve identity and network boundary questions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in data security and privacy governance on enterprise data platforms.
• Experience implementing classification, dynamic masking, and row-level security on a modern cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience designing or contributing to column-level lineage across multi-layer data pipelines.
• Knowledge of privacy and access governance in financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Ability to lead governance design during a design-validation phase that gates subsequent development.
• Fluent English at C1 level for direct client stakeholder engagement and gate reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake governance boundaries alongside Snowflake.
• Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services data governance.
• Familiarity with restricting AI-assisted development tools to metadata and aggregate access without exposing raw sensitive values.
