Data Engineer - Snowflake (all genders)

Location: Paris, France. Permanent position with remote and hybrid work options, depending on the country.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain dbt models and production ELT data pipelines.
• Build reliable, fault-tolerant, observable batch and scheduled pipelines with monitoring, testing, and recovery mechanisms.
• Optimize Snowflake queries and data models for performance, scalability, and cost across large datasets.
• Own complex data engineering workstreams from technical design through production support.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions for software and business process issues.
• Collaborate with client teams, architects, analysts, and external partners in an international environment.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt in production environments.
• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of data modelling and layered data architectures.
• Python experience for data ingestion, transformation, automation, and API integration.
• Experience building, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production ELT/data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure and cloud data services, plus Git, CI/CD, and software engineering practices.
• Professional English and the ability to work autonomously and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Agentic AI, Snowflake Cortex, or AI-enabled data products.
• Familiarity with AWS data services, Kafka, streaming patterns, or BI tools such as Power BI.
