TL;DR
Data Manager (Data Governance) (Data Security/Privacy): Designing and implementing sensitive-data classification, masking, access tiering, and lineage for a large-scale finance data platform with an accent on Snowflake governance, regulated-data controls, and standardized business metrics. Focus on leading design validation, securing Security and Compliance approval, and resolving identity and network boundaries before platform development begins.

What you will do
- Lead sensitive-data classification across source-system tables and dimension values.
- Design dynamic masking, row-access, raw-versus-curated access-tiering, and least-privilege policies for sensitive financial data.
- Design auditable column-level lineage across source, landing, staging, conformed, curated, semantic, and reporting layers.
- Support master data management and consistent definitions for billing and financial metrics.
- Implement platform policy objects and tags, and maintain versioned classification and lineage artifacts in client-controlled repositories.
- Partner with Security, Privacy, and Compliance stakeholders to secure design approval and resolve network and identity boundary questions.
Requirements
- Enterprise data security and privacy governance experience with hands-on policy implementation.
- Experience with data classification, dynamic masking, and row-level security on modern cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Experience designing or contributing to column-level lineage across multi-layer data pipelines.
- Knowledge of privacy and access governance in financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
- Experience leading classification and masking design during a design-validation phase.
- Fluent English at C1 level is required for direct engagement with client Security, Privacy, and Compliance stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Microsoft Fabric and OneLake governance experience alongside Snowflake.
- Mortgage, lending, or financial-services data governance experience.
- Familiarity with restricting AI-assisted development tools to metadata and aggregate access without exposing raw sensitive values.
