Mechanical / Hardware Engineer I Graduate

Location: United States of America, Texas; hybrid work with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office

Salary: USD 55,500–125,500 annual base salary

What you will do

• Design portions of mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling.
• Implement validation tests covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock, vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, and reliability.
• Develop fan curves, system power measurements, and acoustics evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design.
• Contribute to reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low-to-moderately complex products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience with or understanding of ProEngineer or other 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of sheet metal and plastic part design, production tooling, and related processes.
• Understanding of material thermal properties and heat transfer.
• Mastery of English and the local language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
