What you will do

• Lead data science for the real estate investing platform across origination, due diligence, asset management, and value creation.
• Partner with deal teams and portfolio company management to identify opportunities for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Translate commercial and investment questions into analytical problems and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Build data-driven models, decision-support tools, and AI-enabled solutions across the investment lifecycle.
• Evaluate traditional and alternative datasets for underwriting, market analysis, asset monitoring, and investment insights.
• Scale bespoke analytics for reuse across broader investment sectors and drive adoption of new data capabilities.

Requirements

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, data science, or operations research.
• 5+ years of experience applying data science, machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics to complex commercial problems.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.
• Deep knowledge of statistical modelling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and experimental design.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives from problem definition through implementation and business adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, influence, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate, infrastructure, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or another data-intensive commercial environment.
• Experience with alternative data, geospatial data, market intelligence, forecasting, or predictive analytics.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, embeddings, or AI-enabled productivity solutions.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, responsible AI, model governance, or evaluation frameworks.
