Internship (d/f/m) for Multi-Agent Trajectory Planning (Aerospace)

Location: Manching, Germany; onsite internship

hirify.global develops military and civil flight management systems and flight guidance functions for manned aircraft and remotely piloted aircraft systems.

What you will do

• Research and develop algorithms for multi-agent trajectory planning.
• Enhance existing algorithms in Python and C++.
• Explore optimization, geometrical methods, and machine learning techniques for robust multi-aircraft formation flight.
• Support the preparation of documentation for future research.
• Collaborate with experienced research and technology specialists in the Flight Management Systems department.

Requirements

• Enrolled full-time Master student in Mathematics, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Familiarity with optimization, machine learning, and trajectory planning.
• Experience with Git, Linux, and documentation in LaTeX.
• Very good English skills and strong teamwork abilities.
• The internship lasts 4–6 months and starts as soon as possible.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
