What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of three Data Scientists while providing technical guidance.
• Develop and optimize ML products, including reinforcement learning-driven decisioning tools for outbound communication.
• Improve portfolio valuation models in close collaboration with the Finance department.
• Identify, structure, and solve complex business problems in cross-departmental collaboration.
• Experiment with new technologies to address unique technical and data-related challenges.
• Report directly to the Director of AI & Data Science to ensure high-quality, measurable business value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a startup or fintech environment.
• Proven leadership experience in a dynamic workplace.
• Extensive expertise with Python, data processing packages (Pandas, Numpy), and ML frameworks (Pytorch, Scikit-learn, Transformers).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).
• Excellent English language proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning projects.
• Proficiency in agile development practices such as TDD/BDD and continuous integration.
