Supply Chain Engineer - Supplier

Location: Hybrid role based at the Porcari, Lucca site in Italy

What you will do

• Manage raw material and purchase-part SKU parameterization, supplier master data, and ERP information.
• Optimize inventory availability and right-sizing for raw materials and purchased goods in transit.
• Measure and report supplier performance across on-time delivery, lead time, and order quantity.
• Build supplier relationships, resolve shortages, and coordinate expediting and recovery actions.
• Lead upstream supply chain improvement projects, including root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Manage supplier-related product lifecycles and NPI processes while developing the supply base through Lean methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or appropriate workplace experience or qualifications.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain engineering, supply chain analytics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing supply chains, Lean methodologies, process optimization, change leadership, and results delivery.
• Fluent Italian and professional English at C1 level required.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt training or equivalent Lean qualification.
