Transportation Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Develop and implement transportation strategies focused on delivery speed, cost efficiency, and service quality.
• Oversee route planning, load optimization, carrier selection, daily operations, and performance monitoring.
• Manage 3PL relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
• Analyze transportation metrics, budgets, and operational issues to identify improvements and cost savings.
• Lead and mentor transportation specialists while collaborating with warehouse, supply chain, and customer service teams.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing complex transportation networks, freight modes, and last-mile delivery operations.
• Experience with transportation management systems and logistics software.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large-scale e-commerce or retail environment.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
