Product Software Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead and manage a sizable team of software engineers while fostering a high-performing culture.
• Oversee the development, implementation, enhancement, and launch of commercial software products.
• Provide technical guidance on complex challenges and support critical project decisions.
• Coordinate with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Plan team workloads, estimate resources, allocate capacity, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, development processes, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
• Knowledge of product software engineering across design, development, testing, deployment, and quality assurance.
• Understanding of DevOps, cloud computing, automation, continuous delivery, and agile practices.
• Ability to work with APIs, software frameworks, implementation and delivery processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, mentoring, and people-management skills.
• Availability for a hybrid role in Barcelona, Spain and potential onsite interviews at a hirify.global office.
