Principal Software Engineer (Security)

What you will do

• Architect and build authentication, authorization, and audit services that protect customer data.
• Design and scale resilient gRPC and HTTP APIs and Kubernetes-based microservices.
• Develop maintainable backend systems and refine service architecture for product growth.
• Lead threat modeling, performance tuning, and reliability engineering initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams on the technical roadmap.

Requirements

• Significant experience building and operating distributed backend systems in a modern typed language.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Deep expertise in authentication and authorization, including OIDC, OAuth2, RBAC, or ABAC.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, Elasticsearch, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience owning production services through design, development, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
