What you will do

• Support Legal, Compliance, and the MLRO with policy reviews, file delivery, remediation tracking, product-launch requirements, and operational activities.
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions that improve the efficiency and scalability of legal and compliance operations.
• Build and enhance intelligent systems using LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, long-term memory, tool use, subagents, and multi-agent architectures.
• Develop benchmark frameworks, datasets, annotation strategies, and evaluation methodologies for legal and compliance AI systems.
• Measure and improve retrieval quality, latency, groundedness, factuality, and task success.
• Conduct independent research and rapidly prototype solutions for ambiguous legal and compliance workflow challenges.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in compliance technology, legal technology, regulatory technology, or software development supporting compliance or legal functions.
• Strong understanding of compliance rules, regulations, and operational processes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or a related background is preferred.
• Hands-on experience building production RAG systems with embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, chunking, text preprocessing, and multimodal parsing.
• Experience with advanced Agentic RAG approaches, LLM fundamentals, prompt and context engineering, memory, planning, tool use, MCP, and multi-agent systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, independent research skills, and the ability to solve ambiguous problems and prototype practical solutions.
