Software Development Student (AI)

Location: On-site in Haifa, Israel

hirify.global's DATA and AI SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS team builds AI solutions and self-service capabilities used by thousands of hirify.global customers for data-driven decision-making.

What you will do

• Develop AI solution features end-to-end, from design through production.
• Build backend systems, services, and scalable software capabilities.
• Work with senior engineers and learn software development best practices.
• Contribute to solutions supporting data-driven decisions across hirify.global product teams.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 semesters remaining until graduation.
• Strong passion for backend systems, distributed systems, and scalable software design.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on backend and system-level challenges.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with backend design principles and common design patterns.
• Understanding of APIs, services, and server-side architecture.
• Team-player mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Nice to have

• Hands-on backend development experience with technologies such as C# or Java.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Extracurricular software development activities, including open-source contributions, hackathons, or personal projects.
• Experience with AI-related services or data pipelines.
