Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Paris, France; remote role supporting customers across France, Spain, Italy and the wider European region.

What you will do

• Lead the technical relationship with enterprise, government and public-sector customers, partners and account executives.
• Discover customer problems and map them to Cohere solutions, including enterprise architectures and AI adoption strategies.
• Design, lead and deploy customer pilots and evaluations inside customer technology stacks.
• Own the technical narrative from discovery and architecture through pilot results, success metrics and business cases.
• Gather structured customer feedback and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve Cohere offerings.
• Develop scalable processes and partner strategies for the Solutions Architect and adjacent teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, consulting data scientist, forward-deployed engineer or deployment strategist.
• Experience taking AI or data solutions from executive problem framing through production.
• Practical understanding of Agentic AI and where LLMs create value in production.
• Strong grounding in machine learning fundamentals, including training, evaluation and retrieval, with the ability to design evaluation frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with both executive and technical audiences, plus the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
• Comfort working with Python and assistive coding tools; professional fluency in English for business and technical communication is required.

• Fluency in French, Spanish or Italian.
