Technical Program Manager (AWS)

Location: Hybrid in Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbia, South Carolina; Lafayette, Louisiana; or Birmingham, Alabama

Salary: $121,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver milestones for large-scale technology initiatives in financial services.
• Coordinate with engineering teams in an AWS-heavy environment to deliver cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Manage client expectations, project deliverables, quality, and timelines.
• Provide progress updates, resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Track project and program lifecycle costs, budgets, and interim and final deliverables.
• Lead technical professionals and address complex technical issues with engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive IT and direct project or program management experience.
• Experience planning and tracking complex projects using tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of project and program lifecycle costs and budgeting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and working through complex technical issues with engineering groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other major cloud environments.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
