Portuguese Brazilian Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester

Location: On-site in Barcelona, Spain; Cluj-Napoca, Romania; or Tokyo, Japan. Remote and work-from-home arrangements are not available because the programme uses confidential pre-release technology.

What you will do

• Evaluate pre-release AI model outputs in Brazilian Portuguese for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
• Fact-check model responses against source material and compare the Brazilian Portuguese experience with the English version.
• Test complete user journeys on client-provided smartphones and next-generation smart glasses using iOS and Android devices.
• Identify localization, display, formatting, and rendering issues involving dates, numbers, currencies, units, untranslated strings, diacritics, non-Latin scripts, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input.
• Document reproducible defects with steps, device and operating system details, locale, build ID, and supporting evidence, then retest fixes.
• Support other linguistic projects and provide language-specific feedback on navigation, usability, and linguistic nuance.

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual Brazilian Portuguese, written and spoken, is required.
• On-site availability in Barcelona, Cluj-Napoca, or Tokyo is required; remote work is not possible.
• Confident use of smartphones and laptops, with the ability to work across iOS and Android.
• Strong attention to detail and objective judgment when assessing quality.
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts and guidelines, and explain issues clearly in English.
• Previous software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation experience is advantageous but not essential.
