LQA Tester (Gaming)

Location: On-site in Madrid, Spain. The role requires the right to work in Spain and does not offer remote work.

What you will do

• Test game localization across words, menus, and in-game messages for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
• Report linguistic issues clearly in professional bug databases, track their progress, and verify fixes.
• Follow established LQA testing methods and manage the full testing cycle from start to finish.
• Write and refine test cases and document findings and best practices.
• Collaborate with testers, translators, and developers to improve localization testing.
• Identify workflow improvements, optimize processes, and share knowledge.

Requirements

• Norwegian at a native or near-native level and confident written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, passion for games, and the ability to maintain quality under pressure.
• Proactive, curious, organized, and accurate approach to work.
• Comfort using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and MS Office.
• Existing right to work in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, or text editing platforms.
• Understanding of gaming trends and gaming culture.
• Degree in linguistics or a related field.
