LQA Specialist (Gamedev)

Location: On-site in Madrid, Spain, at Alvento Business Park. Candidates must already have the right to work in Spain.

What you will do

• Test games for linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural appropriateness, and overall localization quality.
• Report linguistic issues clearly in professional bug databases and track them through resolution.
• Collaborate with testers, translators, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the testing cycle.
• Write and refine test cases, document findings, and contribute to LQA best practices.
• Optimize testing workflows, share knowledge, and help improve project delivery.

Requirements

• German at a highly proficient level, with confident written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, proactivity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Comfort using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Existing right to work in Spain is required.
• Passion for games and interest in how language, culture, and gameplay experiences are presented.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, or text editing platforms.
• Understanding of gaming trends and gaming culture.
• Degree in linguistics or a related field.
