Data Insights Analyst - Sr. Advisor (SQL)

Location: Remote Colorado, United States. Candidates residing in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area must follow a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct alert testing and calibration, including Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line analysis, to evaluate thresholds and criteria.
• Work with Supervision subject matter experts, data owners, and technology partners to define business questions and obtain relevant data.
• Use SQL to extract, prepare, combine, and analyze data from AWS Redshift and other approved data environments.
• Investigate trends, anomalies, concentrations, data-quality gaps, and factors driving analytical results.
• Develop reports, presentations, and visualizations in Qlik Sense and similar tools to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Use approved AI-assisted and analytical tools to explore data, identify patterns, and develop validated insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or a related field, plus three years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience answering business questions using data.
• Experience querying, joining, aggregating, preparing, and analyzing data with SQL.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences, collaborate with SMEs and data partners, and manage multiple priorities.
• For St. Petersburg/Tampa-based candidates, availability for at least three office days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Redshift or a similar data platform.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable visualization tools.
• Experience with Python, Pandas, Jupyter notebooks, or similar data-analysis tools.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for data analysis and exploration.
• Knowledge of financial services, wealth management, supervision, compliance, or risk management.
