Project Manager (Civil Construction)

Location: Richmond, Virginia; projects in the Greater Richmond, Williamsburg, and Hampton areas. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, supervise, and coordinate construction projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and material requirements from project start to finish.
• Supervise engineers, interns, and other project personnel, providing guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and requirements.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of construction management experience.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Communication, negotiation, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related computer programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening and be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
