Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Lead the management and optimisation of Kafka, Pega, middleware services, Azure, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Improve platform reliability through automation, monitoring, observability, and DevOps practices.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code capabilities.
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, and strategic technology initiatives.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Embed security, compliance, and operational risk controls while partnering with engineering, architecture, and security teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise with Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, middleware technologies, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD toolchains.
• Experience managing major incidents and production environments at scale.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
